The cost of re-mineralization installation at seawater desalination plant is estimated at 5 - 7% of a total cost of the entire seawater desalination installation plant. In brackish water desalination plants the re-mineralization costs can be as much as 15%, and in surface water re-mineralization installations – up to 50%.
